Ban on:

Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays

Time:

Saturdays from 15.00 to 24.00 clock
Sundays and public holidays from 0.00 bis 22.00 clock

Affected vehicules:

Trucks without trailers and semi-vehicles over 7.5 tons gross vehicle weight
Trucks with trailers, if the gross weight of the truck or trailer over 3.5 tons.

Exceptions:

-- Tractors without trailers
- Milktransporters with milk in their trailers or empty trip
- Transports associated with combined rail / road transport if the Sender and the receiver are located not more than 65 air kilometers from railway station
- The access corridor on all routes between the austrian Border and the Rolling Road stations are permitted on the weekends with detection of filled out CIM / UIRR waybill
- Trucks with or without trailers over 7.5 tonnes gross weight, with animals for slaughter or perishable food.
- Journeys undertaken for the repair work which can not be postponed
- Roadside assistance, towing services, disaster vehicules
- Empty runs when the vehicle returns to the starting point

Night driving ban

Time:

daily from 22.00 bis 5.00 o'clock

Affected vehicules:

all trucks over 7.5 tons gross weight

Area:

Entire network

Exceptions:

--Low-noise vehicles, which must be marked with a green sign with a white "L"
- Trips in combined transport road / rail to and from the following stations in both directions:
Vienna south, Graz Ostbahnhof Villach-Fürnitz, shunting yard catfish Brennersee station.

Summer Travel Regulation

Time:

Saturday, 8:00 am to Sunday 22.00 clock clock
from1 July - 31 August

Affected vehicules:

all trucks over 7.5 tons gross weight

Ostautobahn A 4 junction Schwechat to the border at Nickelsdorf;
Mühlkreisautobahn A 7 from Linz (A 1 - A 7) to the junction Salzburgerstraße;
Tauern motorway A 10 from the junction Salzburg / south to the junction Werfen and the junction Eben to the junction Villach;
Inntalautobahn A 12 from the state border at Kufstein to the junction Imst;
Brenner motorway A 13 in the whole area;
Vienna outer ring motorway A 21 from the junction Steinhäusl (A 1 - A 21) to the junction Mödling;
Linzer motorway A 25 from Haid (A1 - A25) to the junction Wels / East;
Kremser expressway S 33 from St. Pölten (A 1 - S 33) to the junction St.Pölten-East;
southern motorwayA 2 Vösendorf to junction Packsattel;
Pyhrnautobahn A 9;
Seefeld highway B 177 in the whole area;
Achensee B 181 federal road in the entire region;
Loferer Highway B 178 between Lofer and Wörgl;
Fern highway B 179 between Nassereith and Bieberwier
